Dear students, parents, and guardians,
Auditions for the BCES Chorus are being held on November 8-10 and are open to grades 3-5. There will be time slots that you can sign your student up for on Monday (Nov. 8th), Tuesday (Nov. 9) and Wednesday (Nov. 10th) morning, from 7:30- 8:40, as well as on that Tuesday (Nov. 9) afternoon from 3:15-4:30. Sign up for a time to come audition with the link provided. Each student will have a 5-minute time slot to audition for Mrs. Etheridge and/or Miss Kuhne.
Here’s how to prepare for your audition:
-Prepare a short, simple song to sing like “Happy Birthday”, “My Country ‘Tis of Thee”, “Amazing Grace”, etc.
- Be prepared to sing a few other short melodies and be tested for range.
Once auditions are complete, a letter will be sent home to parents of students who passed their audition with more details about Chorus rehearsal times, behavior expectations, and other important things to know.
If you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Etheridge at netheridge@bryan.k12.ga.us, or, send a message through your child’s Class Dojo.
