State testing starts tomorrow for grades 3&5. Please make sure students go to bed early and get to school on time (8:00). If students arrive before 7:50 they can eat a free hot breakfast.

BCES PTO Update: April 24,2018- Only chorus will perform at PTO. Chorus, dance, and recorder will be on May 11.

B.C.E.S. PTO-Tuesday, April 24th at 6:00. Chorus and dance team will be performing, and we will be voting for new PTO officers. Please join us!

BCES students will be taking the GMAS starting on April 30th. It is recommended that you complete the online practice test with your child. The more familiar your child is with the testing platform, the more successful he or she will be. https://wbte.drcedirect.com/GA/#login

Family Engagement Revision Meeting

BCES: This is a reminder that 3rd quarter progress reports (report cards) will be coming home today.

BCES Annual Title One Family Engagement Meeting April 12, 2018 @ 6:00 p.m. The following topics will be discussed: 1. What is a Title I School? 2. School Data Report 3. Results from Family Engagement Survey 4.Suggestions and Ideas for Spending Family Engagement Funds 5.Review/Revise the District Parent-Family Engagement Plan 6.Review/Revise the School Parent-Family Engagement Plan 7.Review/Revise the School-Parent Compact Refreshments will be served.

Spring pictures and class pictures will be taken tomorrow at BCES. Remember, class pictures must be purchased by March 1st.

The 4th grade field trip will continue as planned. The most recent forecast has the rain holding off until afternoon. Please send your child a rain jacket and boots to be on the safe side.
